Meet the Defensive Tackle that's set to have a career defining year this 2025 season.
Jaydan Troy Scanlan, 17, is a defensive standout in Queensland gridiron and has been a hefty defensive tackle for the Logan City Bears U18 team since he joined the club in the 2024 Spring Season. Known for his relentless motor and powerful run-stuffing ability. He is a top 70 ranked player in Queensland and a 2024 SEQ U18 Defensive Player of the Year Nominee
Growing up in Logan Central, his disciplinary upbringing saw him picking up the weights early in his life. His Samoan roots pointed him to sport very quick where he became a rugby union prop from 2019-2021. However a shoulder injury effectively ended his sporting career until he joined American Football in July 2023
